The Art of Flash Animation Creative Cartooning Book

Why should we invest so much of our time and efforts in this art form we call animation? Good question, my friends. Well, here’s our alternative to animation: the lowest, most base of pathetic, whimpering Hollywood executives throwing up their hands and wantonly admitting they’ve run out of “original” ideas, by slinging in our general direction… the so-called “reality show.” Here’s the problem I have with reality shows. When I switch on the TV, go to a movie, or even crack open a book, the last thing I expect — much less actually want — is reality. If I wanted reality, I’d switch off the TV, walk outside, and experience raw, unbridled, unedited, truly unscripted reality — all for the price of free. I don’t need an overpaid executive directly or indirectly slipping money from my pocket to fund payment on his latest convertible. Certainly not from funds garnered via reality TV.
